The Rumburgh Buck is a family owned and run, traditional country pub which prides itself on a warm friendly atmosphere to make everyone feel welcome.
We offer a range of up to five cask ales from local breweries and micro breweries such as Green Jack, Lacons, Wolf, Mauldons, Cabin, Earl Soham, Mr Winter’s, inc Moongazer’s & Wolf’s Gluten Free and many more.
We have Carlsberg & Estrella on tap with Aspall and various fruit and local ciders too and of course a wide range of non-alcoholic beverages for the designated driver.
The Rumburgh Buck is a 16th century pub set in the village Rumburgh. Rumburgh is situated between the local towns of Halesworth and Bungay off the A144.
The restaurant here at the Rumburgh Buck spans 5 separate areas. Our newly renewed outdoor area can easily accommodate 40 people – weather permitting!
We have a games room with pool table and darts board, where we also hold several live music events throughout the year, it may also be used to host functions.
Serving local produce as much as possible from establishments such as Bramfield Meats and Cleveleys who are just a stones throw away, with salad and veg sourced locally too.
We prepare everything ourselves to order therefore we are able to adjust our meals to suit many allergens including our gluten free fish batter. We ask all customers to please make our staff aware of any allergens that could possibly affect our customers experience with us.
Our desserts are mainly homemade and change regularly so it’s unlikely you’ll find the same thing when you visit us again, but something new instead to tantalise your taste buds!
Our menu offers a lovely selection as you will see from our different menus. We recommend pre-booking a table if you wish to dine, and if you would like a guaranteed roast dinner on a Sunday afternoon please phone ahead on
The Buck is a family and Dog friendly establishment. Whilst the flooring throughout is mainly old flag stones brick and tiles which can be uneven in places, we are still able to offer wheelchair access to one of our restaurants, however at present access for wheelchairs cannot be gained to the toilets.
